About the Speaker

Mr Richard Tan is the Managing Director of Tan Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd (TIB). He manages the business development and the broking arm of TIB which includes the employee benefits department. He has been helping companies to enhance their employee value proposition thru effective review of their employee benefits program.

Richard has a Master of Management in Human Resource Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and has won the Dean’s awards for both International HRM and Organizational Behaviour

Richard has spent the first 12 years of his career in banking and finance. He has held a series of management position from Standard Chartered Bank, OCBC and HSBC. At HSBC, he had the opportunity to work extensively in the area of performance management, employee engagement, talent management and leadership development for Asia Pacific. His last appointment was the HR Business Partner to onshore banking.
