At WMRAS Academy, we focus on upgrading the waste management and recycling industry by equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge to innovate, improve sustainability, and lead in an evolving environment.

As an approved Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Public Training Organisation, WMRAS organises courses for Class A, B & C waste collectors. Since March 2012, WMRAS has trained over 1,700 drivers and crew from the industry. WMRAS Academy will continuously roll out more courses for frontline operations (e.g. sorters, operators), certificate, and other Professional, Managers and Executive (PME) courses developed jointly with educational institutions, industry specialists and experts.

Expanding on our focus, WMRAS Academy aims to enhance the know-hows and competencies of Environmental Services, Sustainability and Circularity personnel in Singapore and Asia, and catalyse the progress of zero waste actions across all industry sectors, by delivering bite-sized yet comprehensive, short-duration yet outcome-focused training programmes, curated and facilitated by industry practitioners, professionals, and academia.

Ready to propel learning to greater purpose and higher heights is our team of programme facilitators and course trainers who have over a decade of experience in their respective relevant fields. Our trainers who facilitate WSQ courses are at least ACTA/ACLP- certified and have undergone rigorous training on how to effectively engage trainees and enhance knowledge retention through proven instructional methods. WMRAS Academy also offers learning over digital platforms.
