Terms & Conditions for WMRAS Academy Courses
- All courses are Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) courses unless otherwise stated as “Non WSQ”.
- Course registration DOES NOT guarantee that the course will be confirmed. Course confirmation will be informed by WMRAS Academy by email, usually 2 weeks prior to the course start date.
- Course fee funding and/or other funding/subsidy accorded by Singapore Government Agency/Agencies are at the discretion of the respective Singapore Government Agency/Agencies based on published policies and guidelines.
- Acceptance of course confirmation is by email only.
- Upon your acceptance of course confirmation by email, WMRAS will issue an invoice, and you shall ensure payment of course fees due must be made to WMRAS BEFORE course start date.
- After you have accepted the course confirmation by email, the following “Amendment/Cancellation Policy” shall take effect:
- You inform WMRAS Academy by email 6 to 10 working days before course start date to amend/cancel trainee’s registration/details ONCE – no Admin Fee will be imposed, and for the case of cancellation a Credit Note will be issued for the course fees paid.
- You inform WMRAS Academy by email 6 to 10 working days before course start date to amend/cancel trainee’s registration/details more than once – WMRAS will impose an Admin Fee of $108.00 for each amendment and cancellation, and for the case of cancellation a Credit Note will be issued for the course fees paid.
- You inform WMRAS Academy by email 3 to 5 working days before course start date to amend/cancel trainee’s registration/details – WMRAS will impose an Admin Fee of $324.00 for each amendment and cancellation, and for the case of cancellation, a Credit Note will be issued for the course fees paid.
- You inform WMRAS Academy by email 1 to 2 working days before course start date to amend/cancel trainee’s registration/details – WMRAS will impose an Admin Fee of $540.00 for each amendment and cancellation, and for the case of cancellation a Credit Note will be issued for the course fees paid.
- You shall ensure that each trainee attending the course has an approved, activated and active SingPass app on his/her own mobile phone before the course start date. Attendance-taking will ONLY BE ACCEPTED through the trainee’s SingPass.
- In the event of no-show by your trainee on the course date (which includes attendance not being able to be taken due to trainee not having an approved, activated and active SingPass app on his/her own mobile phone), trainee will be considered Absent; he/she will not be allowed to attend the training and assessment, and there will be no refund of course fees.
- In the event of absence of your trainee during the course, the circumstance(s) shall be communicated by email, and WMRAS Academy reserves the right to disallow the trainee to take the assessment based on published training and assessment guidelines.
- In the event of your trainee having failed the assessment during the course, the circumstance(s) shall be communicated by email.
- WMRAS Academy reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions contained herein without prior notice, and in situations of ambiguity/doubt, WMRAS Academy’s decision is final.
